My Experience
Starting my career as a support worker gave me the perfect foundation for the basics in care, and a deep understanding of the variety of individual needs.
Lockdown saw me thrown in at the deep end. As a live-in care support worker for two young children with complex needs, I developed a comprehensive moving and handling plans that met their specific requirements. These challenges shaped me as a person and here I knew I’d found my true vocation as a complex care training provider.
